Varuna SILK Dress

Varuna SILK Dress features a loose fit silhouette buttoned at front. The dress has a round neckline and wide sleeves with gathers at the top of the sleeves. At sleeve opening the sleeves have an elastic cuff detail. You can wear the dress open or closed.  

This unique item is made from a beautiful upcycled silk sari handpicked by SISSEL EDELBO. The sari has been worn by an Indian woman, which means that smaller imperfections, such as small stains and loose threads, will occur. However, to us these imperfections are the garment’s unique beauty flaws. They reflect the life and the love that the previous owner has added to the fabric. Each garment is one of a kind, and as part of its charm, you may notice differences in the prints and colors between the front and back of the piece.
