TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to the official SISSEL EDELBO Webshop. These terms and conditions apply when you shop with us - www.sissel-edelbo.dk or www.sissel-edelbo.com. We therefore recommend that you read our terms and conditions thoroughly when you place an order on our website.

If you experience problems with your order on our Webshop or with the general use of our website, please contact us at webshop@sissel-edelbo.com. If you have any questions about our terms and conditions, we also recommend that you contact us before placing an order.

1. PAYMENT
SISSEL EDELBO ApS accepts online payments with the following credit cards:

  • Visa/Dankort
  • Mastercard
  • Visa Electron
  • Maestro
  • Paypal
  • Klarna

When paying with Visa Electron and Mastercard Debit, which are debit cards, the payment will be reserved in your account in accordance with the terms of your card until we withdraw or decline the payment. The payment will be deducted from your account when your order is shipped.

SISSEL EDELBO ApS uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with SSL protocol, meaning your data is secured and cannot be read by other third parties. SISSEL EDELBO APS's own website also uses encryption with SSL protocol.
To offer you Klarna's payment methods, we may at the checkout share your personal information in the form of contact information and order information with Klarna, so that Klarna can assess whether you can choose the payment methods, and to adapt them for you. Your personal data that is shared is processed according to Klarna's own data protection information

Prices
The prices on the website are shown in the currency applicable to your country. Please use the 'Delivery' function in the menu when you check out and you will see the right price for your country selection. You can pay in the following currencies: Euro (EUR). PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE DELIVERY CHARGES.

2. PRE-ORDER
We're dedicated to eco-friendliness by offering select items for pre-order, helping us reduce waste and minimize overproduction. Your payment will only be processed when your order is dispatched. If you purchase other in-stock items/more pre-orders, they will be shipped together once all items are available. 3. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We ship with the following shipping companies:

  • GLS
  • UPS

Your package will be delivered to the delivery address that you have chosen and stated at check out. We deliver to private addresses, business addresses and parcel shops. Once you have approved your order, your information - including the address - cannot be changed. Once you have approved your order, the order cannot be cancelled. We therefore recommend that you check your entered information thoroughly before approving your order. All orders placed before 2pm on weekdays are usually dispatched the same day. We reserve the right for busy periods when the delivery time may be longer. Orders are not delivered on weekends or public holidays. When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number so you can follow your shipment. SISSEL EDELBO cannot be held responsible for delays caused by transport.

Please note that the risk of loss or damage to your goods passes to you after delivery. If the package appears to be damaged upon delivery, you should refuse to receive it from the carrier and notify us at webshop@sissel-edelbo.com.

Delivery to countries outside the European Union
If your country is not part of the European Union, you may be subject to pay customs duties and VAT to receive your package. All costs arising in connection with this must be paid exclusively by you. Please note that if you refuse to accept your package without a reasonable reason, we reserve the right to deduct the amount that covers freight, customs clearance fees, customs duties and VAT.

If you wish to return an order from outside of the European Union, we will subtract a handling fee.

We offer UPS Global Checkout, which lets you pay all duties and taxes directly at checkout. When you choose this service, everything is handled before your purchase is completed.

4. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, RETURN AND EXCHANGE
We offer 14 days full refund on goods purchased on the website. This 14-day period starts on the day the order is delivered. Returning your package with SISSEL EDELBO is easy. Visit our return portal to initiate your return and find more information about returns here: https://sissel-edelbo.com/pages/return.

When you return an order, the amount will be refunded to the credit card with which you made your purchase. You bear the return costs yourself. If you return through our return portal, the amount for your return label will be deducted from your return amount.

The request for cancellation must be notified to us on e-mail webshop@sissel-edelbo.com.

The returned package must be received by us no later than 14 days after getting the order.
We process return parcels weekly. You will receive an email once your order has been processed. You can expect to receive your refund within 14 days from the date we receive your return.

Exchange
We do not offer exchanges. If you want a different item than the one purchased, you must return the item you purchased. You can then place a new order for the product you want in the normal way.

Condition of the item upon return
You are liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, properties and function of the goods. This means that you must try the product in the same way as if you shopped in a physical store. If the item has been tried on in addition to what is described above, it is considered used and of diminished value. If hangtags are removed from the item, it is considered a significant reduction in value. In these cases, if you cancel the purchase, you will get a smaller part or none of the purchase amount back. It is up to SISSEL EDELBO ApS to assess the condition of the goods.

5. Legal guarantee
When you shop on SISSEL EDELBO's website, you are covered by the Purchase Act. We offer a 2-year legal guarantee on products, which allows you to either get a defective item repaired, exchanged, your money back or a discount, depending on the specific situation. If you wish to complain about your product, please contact us at webshop@sissel-edelbo.com. When making a complaint, please include your order number, attach photos of the product's defects and describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

We will then get back to you by mail with a solution. Please note that complaints sent via cash-on-delivery will not be accepted. If you bought your product from one of our retailers, please contact them directly regarding the complaint.

Please note that defects caused by improper use, improper maintenance or normal wear and tear are not considered a valid reason. We recommend that you complain as soon as possible and within 14 days after the error has been discovered.

Note:
Many of our products are made from recycled materials that have been re-designed into beautiful SISSEL EDELBO styles. Therefore, you might find that these styles have small imperfections in terms of the material being recycled. This could for instance be loose threads, small stains or porous fabric. These small imperfections are evidence of the fabric's authentic life and its history. In many cases, small mistakes like these will not be considered a complaint, as it is inevitable that recycled fabric differs from conventional clothing design.

6. FORCE MAJEURE
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under the terms if the delay or failure is due to events beyond our control.

7. COMPLAINT OPTIONS
If you wish to complain about a product purchased in our webshop, please send the complaint to webshop@sissel-edelbo.com. If a common solution cannot be found for the complaint, you can send a complaint to:

8. COSTUMER & PRIVACY POLICY

9. CAMPAIGNS & DISCOUNT CODES
It is not possible to use a discount code when buying gift cards. Further, it is not possible to combine discount codes unless any other is specified.

10. COLORS
We cannot guarantee that the colors shown on the Webshop accurately show the actual colors of the product. How the colors are represented depends on the settings on your computer. Some styles may have details on the back that are not pictured - e.g. details in the fabric, which varies from the front, sequins, or embroideries. 

11. CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any purchase that you enter with us is governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with Danish law except for (a) rules which lead to the application of non-Danish law and (b) the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

Any dispute and any claim arising from or in connection with your purchase must be settled by a competent court at SISSEL EDELBO's place of jurisdiction.
