Clio MINI Skirt

Clio MINI Skirt is a cute skirt made in waffle structured cotton. The skirt is beautifully decorated with colorful Suzani embroidery, including motifs of a horse, flowers and a yin-yang symbol placed at the front and back.

This Suzani embroidered item is decorated with the manually controlled chain stitch technique of Suzani embroidery. Our Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans, mostly using the tambour to create a unique and vivid Suzani embroidery pattern. The name “Suzani” comes from the Persian word "su-zan", meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the intricate chain stitching that is the hallmark of Suzani embroidery. Due to the manually controlled nature of Suzani embroidery, you may notice little variations from one garment to another that add to the unique charm of a Suzani decorated item.
