Svea Top

Svea Top is a feminine style, defined by its dropped waistline, elastic smocked bodice, and peplum hemline, made from leftover cotton in yarn-dyed stripes. The top features voluminous elbow length balloon sleeves with elastic inside the sleeve openings. It has a wide O-neckline at both the front and back. The top is decorated with appliquéd flowers and embroidery on the sleeves, and bold zig-zag tape along the bottom hem.

At SISSEL EDELBO, we love to find new, innovative ways to make fashionable clothes. One way is to use leftover fabrics found in markets and in our supplier’s stockrooms, also called ‘deadstock fabrics’. As part of our values, we cherish the idea of using different kinds of existing leftover fabrics instead of producing new materials. Our styles made in the leftover fabrics will always be limited edition, due to the limited fabric amount that is left.
