Svea Dress

Svea Dress is a smocked pull-on dress with a dropped waistline and a wide skirt bottom, made from leftover cotton in yarn-dyed stripes. The top part features elastic smock stitching across both the front and back. The dress is decorated with appliquéd flowers and embroidery, while bold zig-zag tape is placed along the bottom hem.  

At SISSEL EDELBO, we love to find new, innovative ways to make fashionable clothes. One way is to use leftover fabrics found in markets and in our supplier’s stockrooms, also called ‘deadstock fabrics’. As part of our values, we cherish the idea of using different kinds of existing leftover fabrics instead of producing new materials. Our styles made in the leftover fabrics will always be limited edition, due to the limited fabric amount that is left.
