Description
Rhomb SILK Ornament is made from leftover silk saris and is beautifully decorated by hand on one side, with mother of pearl beads in various beautiful shades and sizes.
Year after year you can decorate your Christmas tree or your home with this ornament. The silk used for this ornament is silk sari cuttings that are left over from production of the upcycled silk sari items in our collections. The sari has been worn by an Indian woman, which means that smaller imperfections, such as small stains and loose threads, will occur. However, to us these imperfections are the ornament’s unique beauty flaws. They reflect the life and the love that the previous owner has added to the fabric. As part of our values, we cherish the idea of using existing leftover fabrics and minimizing the production of new materials.
