Maggie MINI Jacket features a casual fit and is made in cotton canvas. The sleeves are long and regular-shaped. It has a V-neckline and bone-look buttons along the front placket. The jacket is adorned with an eye-catching, romantic universe of pink hearts and flowers, created with Suzani embroidery. It is finished with bindings in the main fabric along the edges and lined with striped cotton.

This Suzani embroidered item is decorated with the manually controlled chain stitch technique of Suzani embroidery. Our Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans, mostly using the tambour to create a unique and vivid Suzani embroidery pattern. The name “Suzani” comes from the Persian word “su-zan”, meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the intricate chain stitching that is the hallmark of Suzani embroidery. Due to the manually controlled nature of Suzani embroidery, you may notice little variations from one garment to another that add to the unique charm of a Suzani decorated item.
