Belma Dress is a voluminous, feminine dress made in a blend of organic cotton and linen. The dress features wide butterfly-shaped raglan sleeves decorated with beautifully embroidered scalloped edges. It has a gathered round neckline with a slit at the front. The dress is further decorated with poetic floral embroidery in a contrasting color and specially chosen ladder tape.
This item is made in organic cotton mixed with organic linen. For SISSEL EDELBO, it is important to choose better alternatives fabric wise. By using a 50/50 blend of organic cotton and linen, we maintain the crisp linen hand feel while preserving the softness and durability of cotton. The key benefit of using an organic cotton-linen mix is that the organic cotton contains no chemical pesticides or fertilizers and requires much less water than conventional cotton. Additionally, the linen is European Flax Certified, meaning only minimal fertilizers and pesticides are used compared to conventional linen. At the end of the day, this is a more conscious choice compared to conventional cotton-linen mixes.
