It is important to us at SISSEL EDELBO that all our employees are treated fairly, with respect and work under good conditions.

Our holistic approach to the aspect of sustainability is particularly reflected in our work with social sustainability, which we consider to be one of our most important areas of responsibility. For us, social responsibility is about identifying and being aware of our footprint on both the environment and the stakeholders who are part of our chain of values. We work with a combination of medium-sized, experienced companies and several smaller, family-owned companies. All links in SISSEL EDELBO’s value chain depend on human resources. Therefore, it is important to us to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and with respect – that is, that the welfare of everyone is good and that everyone works under good conditions. For us, sustainable fashion is not just a question of environmentally friendly production, choice of materials, and circular business models – we have acquired a holistic view and see our entire chain of values as one sustainable task. 

Our entire value chain depends on human resources. Therefore, it is important for us to ensure all employees are being treated fair, with respect and work under good conditions, whether it is a seamstress in India or an administrator in our head office in Denmark.

Sustainable fashion is for us not just a question of environment friendly production, materials, and circular business models - We aim for a holistic view on the entire chain of value as one sustainable success. Our holistic approach to the aspect of sustainability shows in our work for social sustainability. We consider this one of our most important responsibilities.
